Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane, is an FDA approved filler for mid-face volume loss.

For obvious reasons Lyft has it’s name due to Lyft’s excellent ability to contour and lift the face. It is a popular choice for cheek contouring and moderate smile lines (nasolabial folds). Lift can also be used to inject the cheek/under-eye junction. We treat this area with our unique microdroplet technique using a cannula so that downtime is minimized. How long does it last?

Studies and clinical trials are showing that Restylane Kysse can last up to a year with other hyaluronic acid fillers lasting around the six to nine month mark and onwards depending on an individual’s metabolism of the filler. What can I expect immediately after the treatment? Restylane Kysse’s lip enhancing results will be visible after one treatment session. Immediately after, the lips will swell about 20% more which is important to keep in mind when waiting for your final results. After the lips have settled, you can then decide if you need more filler for your desired outcome. The procedure does not have any downtime, so you are free to carry on with your normal daily routine after.

Swelling and minimal bruising are very common immediately after treatment and should resolve shortly after. Bumps that you can feel in the lips are also common. A great way of reducing them and keeping the lips soft and supple is by massaging or rolling the lips with your fingers (don’t worry, this will not damage or do any harm to your filler, only enhance the results!)
